Good start--you are on the right track. Here are two things you need to address in the next set of illustrations: 1. Follow your Color Rules (you spent and are spending a lot of money to receive an art education--use the color tricks to support your concepts), and 2. Watch Tangents (use the background to frame your characters--right now, many of the background elements are "attacking" and intruding into the character's spaces)
